Influene in society

             We live in a world in which feelings are said to be the most pure expression of our human nature. Because we feel we call our self humans and we do a infinity number of things guided towards the satisfaction of those desires ore feelings. If the human race for one time acted purely guided by their feelings the society which we live in would end up being a complete chaos. That's why society has managed to create some kind of rules to control those feelings. This rules are followed and "controlled" in some kind of way by a human invention that will "punish" us if we do something wrong. We call this our continence. If this acts affect the society directly in deeper way punishment will end up coming from outside, but in any way we will get some effect for each feeling developed inside us.
             When we talk about feelings we think about arguments that we have learned in the past and that are accepted by our community. In our society we have been taught to be prudent & to have priority in ourselves without harming the others in any way. In the world proposed by Aldous Huxley the humans in the brave new world are thought to be concerned only in the benefit of the society. Lenina expresses that when she tells Bernard "When the individual feels the community reels" meaning that feelings are not the best way for a community to function optimally. In our society we have divided human emotions in many categories and we have determined in some way if they are good ore bad. The best example of this is the way people try not to hate each other because that is "bad". In some way it is, but it is bad not for that one who hates ore that one that's been hated, but for the community because that hate might generate some kind of problem or conflict that can affect the community directly.
