             I gained so much from the experience of the Junior Author Paper that I feel that I came away from it with so much more than I was able to bring to it. Throughout this project, I have developed my writing in so many different ways and my writing skills have progressed immensely. It is interesting to recognize the way my writing improved with each paper. I feel that my first persuasive essay demonstrates weak writing, whereas my last one shows how much I have learned and progressed throughout the year. Creative writing has always been my favorite style of writing, and I was able to accomplish the "Creative" Biography without unduly difficulty. My sense of self worth was boosted, my confidence in my writing blossomed, and the craft of my writing improved greatly.
             I have found that I enjoyed presenting an argument in the form of an essay. Most of my writing skills I acquired from earlier years. Presenting an argument is an important skill to have in work, or in school. Persuading people to feel the way you do about a subject is essential when doing a presentation or advocating for something you believe in. It is necessary to learn effective ways to present an argument. The Junior Author Paper allowed the pieces to focus towards a specific audience, while keeping the purpose of the paper in mind. The project gave me the tools I needed to think critically and analyze not only the writing, but also the content of the text. Through the research and readings of preparation, I developed a good understanding of what it was to rhetorically analyze others' writing. I also learned how to bring together factual information and my own opinions to create a well-founded argument.
