Medicine is the profession designed for people who are intrigued by new challenges and technologies. It is aimed at new discoveries and never-ending opportunities to serve society. These characteristics describe me. My endeavor is to help patients with heart diseases, or any other health condition in which I am suited to help. My primary objectives are to acquire a doctorate degree in cardiology, and practice as a professional heart surgeon in an atmosphere of advanced technology. While attending college, I intend to major in chemistry. These include the components of the blood, and how certain chemicals affect the cardiac system. As a result of this, I have been preparing myself academically with the courses that are required to study medicine at Emerson High School. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. The advantages that I will gain from this career are not just prestige, and reputation, but the satisfaction of working with people who are health disabled. If I have chosen such field is because of my interest towards the sciences and math, plus my aim to help those who have any health disorder. Because everyone in life gets sick, or gets confronted with serious diseases, I have decided that medicine is the career for me. As a student who has an affinity towards chemistry I would like to expand my knowledge on the chemical structure of the human body. As a result, becoming a physician is my primary goal. In addition, I will learn through effort and motivation what is expected from every student who wants to enter Medical School. They are the tennis team, swimming team, science team, biotechnology club, science league, math tutoring, and National Honor Society. Although I understand that being a physician requires many sacrifices and dedication, my affinity in this field allows me to enjoy helping others, learn about the new discoveries in medicine, explore the physiology and function of the human body, and the aim to impact society with my job. In addition I have also been part of many different extracurricular and academic activities. When I see people facing these health problems I wish that I could be the specialist they need, or be the person in pain instead of them.
