Rowan
My Name is :o), and I am writing to introduce myself as a potential student for your University. I am very excited about embarking upon this new aspect of my life, but like most other young adults my age, am a little nervous. I also know, the strong reputation your school has, and I am sure with the help and guidance from my parents, school counselors, professors, and peers I will not only succeed, but enjoy these upcoming years. I am a 'people person' and thrive on the many attributes each person has to offer. I have learned from personal experience, that your strengths come from within and each and every person you meet has something to offer you, either in the way of life skills, laughter, friendship, spirituality, compassion and so much more if you allow them. You just have to be receptive and non-judgmental to get the most out of your encounters and experience
I cannot participate in sports because of a connective tissue condition I have. Thank you for your time and consideration. Choir, attend Youth Group and have been volunteering as a camp counselor at Camp Haluwasa, a Christian camp, in Hammonton, New Jersey. I enjoy helping with different activities in our town's Youth Athletic Association. From the time I was born, I have had a debilitating syndrome known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have always had a desire to work with and be around people, especially children. Respectfully yours, ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. This diagnosis has changed my life, but I now realize that the many trials I have been through, and probably will encounter, will not be obstacles, but opportunities to help others face realities that we sometimes have to face. Realizing they can make their dreams come true by being a teacher, a construction worker or whatever they choose to be. As I grew older my syndrome became more prominent and I found that I was physically able to do less and less. My ability to get along with people and my limitations, due to my disability, has led me to the education field of study and to Rowan University. Going through junior and senior high I had to find a way to occupy my free time while my friends were playing sports and doing normal teenage things. My wish is that someday, somehow, I will be able to help someone overcome whatever they may be facing through the many trials, surgeries and obstacles I have encountered. I have been busy during my past four years at Sterling High School.
