Juvenile Delinquency and RehabilitationIn my rehabilitation program for the juvenile delinquency there shall be several different aspects to rehabilitation and diagnostic planning. The boot camp shall be located on existing or closed military installations on sites chosen by my agency and shall have locations in several states. As Chief Administrator I shall give priority to grants where more than one state enters into formal cooperative arrangements to jointly administer a boot camp. The eligibility for a juvenile to enter the camp will be adjudicate to delinquent in that states jurisdiction or upon approval of the court, voluntarily agrees to the boot camp assignment without a delinquency adjunction. Secondly prior to being placed in a boot camp, an assessment of juvenile shall be performed by the administrative staff member, which included making sure the boot camp is the most restrictive environment that is appropriate for the juvenile delinquents behaviors and actions and the

Aftercare will also be a major component of my boot camp. Deterrence- To discourage or stop by fear or punishment any behavior that may cause danger to an individual or staff member at the facility. Evaluations shall be given on each staff members' progress every 90 days at the facility. A daily regimen shall also be a part of the rehabilitation process of the juvenile so he or she may have a better understanding of the individuals' behavior and the consequences that come with this action. Once a week there shall be a one-hour therapy session with the offender and his or her guardian to express concerns in reference to the offenders' progress or lack of. Staff at the facility shall also be required to undergo training that will consists of physical restraint, de-escalation techniques report writing, and C. Confinement- To make the person or persons legally incapable at the time of their stay from committing another crime or crimes within the community. Each offender will be assigned a counselor who will submit a written report every 60days on the individuals' progress.
