Juvenile Delinquency and RehabilitationIn my rehabilitation program for the juvenile delinquency there shall be several different aspects to rehabilitation and diagnostic planning. The boot camp shall be located on existing or closed military installations on sites chosen by my agency and shall have locations in several states. As Chief Administrator I shall give priority to grants where more than one state enters into formal cooperative arrangements to jointly administer a boot camp. The eligibility for a juvenile to enter the camp will be adjudicate to delinquent in that states jurisdiction or upon approval of the court, voluntarily agrees to the boot camp assignment without a delinquency adjunction. Secondly prior to being placed in a boot camp, an assessment of juvenile shall be performed by the administrative staff member, which included making sure the boot camp is the most restrictive environment that is appropriate for the juvenile delinquents behaviors and actions and the
Punishment- To be serve and swift and shall included fines monetary or penalty of confinement within that individuals dorm room not to exceed 48 hours. Staff members as well as the youthful offenders shall follow the goals of my program. Confinement- To make the person or persons legally incapable at the time of their stay from committing another crime or crimes within the community. Aftercare will also be a major component of my boot camp. Once a week there shall be a one-hour therapy session with the offender and his or her guardian to express concerns in reference to the offenders' progress or lack of. Furthermore the juvenile must be physically and emotionally capable of participating in his or her boot camp regimen. Each offender will be assigned a counselor who will submit a written report every 60days on the individuals' progress. The therapist shall also give a monthly U. A daily regimen shall also be a part of the rehabilitation process of the juvenile so he or she may have a better understanding of the individuals' behavior and the consequences that come with this action. It will include a highly regimented schedule of discipline, physical training, work within the confines of the facility, and drills such as those involved at a R. This will included the following: 1. Finally the population of my camp will consist of high risk juvenile offenders male or female from all types of socioeconomic backgrounds because studies have shown that this youths are more likely to commit adult crimes . R and First Aid within there first 30days of being hired to certain they have the basic skills in dealing with the individuals at the facility.
