Nixon's Presidential Administration
A president is someone who is the highest executive officer of a company
or a club, the chief executive, or sometimes the formal head of the United States of
America. That is was a president is. Nobody really knows what a president does and
how well their views become realities for this country. Nixon dealt with problems he was
confronted with, and problems he created himself. He dealt with both foreign and
domestic issues, which still concern us today. He also ignored problems that could have
dramatically changed the outrunning of the Untied States. Nixon had visions for
America, but how many of those visions where translated into reality? I will say that the
Nixon Administration went trough all of this. Even though Nixon had bad times he still
fought for this country and helped the United States grow. Nixon was a president and I
will explain how well he ran the Untied Stated of America.
President Nixon was elected in 1969, his vice president for the first term
was Sprio T. Agnew. Nixon defeated Hubert Humphrey and George S. McGovern.
Some say Nixon was elected on a slim margin, that was called "The Silent Majority."
This silent majority that made Nixon president was the conservative pro- war tax payers
that he referred to in his Silent Majority speech. The election was a tight race but Nixon
fought his way through it an won. This was just the beginning of a new administration
and a pinnacle moment in the United Stated government and the world.
Nixon's administration was confronted by problems with domestic issues.
Nixon dealt with these issues in a remarkable manner. The first major domestic problem
was the economy. Nixon went with the Kenynesian policy. This drew Nixon a deficit of
23 billion dollar's only 2 billion less then the national high. After the deficit blew up in the
