Transition from High School to College

The sound of church bells chime as my alarm clock rings at six o'clock, it causes me to awake suddenly. Without any sign of hesitation, I leap from my lofted bed and land attempting to be as subtle as possible in order to not disturb my brother. Discretely, I tip-toe through the halls of my house trying not to make a sound as I slip into the shower. After I become fully dressed, I wake my brother and whisper in his ear, "James, get ready for school, we're running late!" As the clock strikes seven, we grab out book-bags, hurry out the door, and drive away in my car. James and I would always turn on my CD-player inside the car and listen to our favorite song on the way to school, My Block, by Tupac. The life I lived was simple then, it consisted of attending school, achieving good grades, after school activities, working at my job and hanging out with my friends and my family. Enrolled since kindergarten in the Locust Valley Central School District, I gradually received a full high school education as I successfully completed each grade. There is only one thing I regret about high school and it is represented by a quote my father told me time after time, "you'll be happy with your grades and yourself as long as you know you have

My classes are very challenging courses and each class requires numerous hours of studying and preparing for upcoming tests or term papers. Often on a school night, I would stay up until four in the morning playing numerous games such as party poker, fantasy sports, and star craft. Sports Management will allow me to watch basketball games for a profession and receive salary. The transitions from high school to college take part in a major factor for the decisions I will be undertaking in my career. I didn't have any friends matriculating at Fairfield, so I was alone and missing all my best friends. That is the hardest obstacle to overcome in the transition from high school to college. It was 3astounding that numerous odd goods for personal hygiene can be amassed for a vital use at college. I would 2often procrastinate completing my homework and various projects that needed to be finished. At first there were several problems between us such as he is a very sloppy young man; leaving his clothes covering the floor; food wrappers and empty soda bottles were not disposed into a garbage can either. It seemed as if we were exactly alike, same interests in movies, music, sports, foods, and games. This chaos for leaving on a trip is the same commotion that I experienced in the process of departing for college. We all decide to eat dinner together; 5play basketball or exercise at the Recreation Center or go out to parties or dance clubs together. Packing is constantly procrastinated until the final night before a trip or early that next morning. " As I look over all the opportunities that I passed upon, instead of studying and putting the extra effort into my work, I could possibly be attending an ivy-league college.
