             Why is it that whenever a football team wins a super bowl the smiling quarterback always ends up going to Disney Land? Why are they not going to Hawaii, France or gambling on a trip to Vegas? Besides the thousands they get paid for saying the catch phrase, they always end up at the happiest place on earth, on a float waving at everyone for Mickey's never ending birthday. The commercial hype surrounding the world of Disney has always been there, but has inevitably gotten bigger and happier with the onslaught of mass media and growing technology. Disney and its marketed happiness have fooled the public since their opening. The truth of the matter is that on the inside Disney is exactly like any other large commercial corporation with corruption, cheating and all.
             Being at guest at Disney's theme parks definitely comes with its perks. The people are great and the rides are amazing. One feels as if we have transported into another world complete with talking animals. You can purchase big turkey legs, really good popcorn or an overpriced piece of ice cream shaped into the head of Mickey around every corner. All served to you fresh by big smiling faces.
             One of those smiling faces was possibly my cousin Amy. To boost her resume, Amy worked at Disney World as part of the college program in the summer of 99'. She was optimistic about working at Disney because my aunt had
            
            
             assured Amy that I would be fun and easy; however, Amy had heard rumors about working at Disney and was a little hesitant.
             After the first week of training, she found that she was not only stuck in Central Florida in the middle of the summer, but also stuck with thousands of sticky and sweaty people, most who didn't speak English, serving soft drinks and pretzels.
