TV and kids

Watching TV influences children because when they see Brittany Spears on TV they want to dress and be just like her. That's very inappropriate for a young child. People who are role models should dress and act like role models. Studies show that TV is the one raising children, not the parents (False Dilemma). This is a major problem in our society today. And contrary to what you read about in magazine propaganda, watching TV can teach your children as well. TV stations do not care that children watch TV too and some of those are rated Pg13 (attacking the person). Television can cause children to think differently, sometimes cause brain damage, and basically think differently on the world because people are so judgmental on how they look.
When television makes you think differently it can be a bad influence on them for when they get older. They see all this bad stuff on TV and then they want to go out and do the same thing because they think oh that looks cool (appeal to popularity). Their parents tell them not to watch certain things, what do they do they sneak and watch it any way.
When you sit too close to the TV or even if you watch too much TV it can cause brain damage (false authority). When brain damage occurs it can cause the child to do poorly in school. If your child is addicted to watching TV, break them of that habit because most of TV is not good for children (red herring). Studies show that 40 percent of children do badly in school because of brain damage caused from TV. This number will continue to get higher if we keep letting our children stare at the television; therefore parents are the enemy (hasty Generalization).
When children see what is happening on television they think differently of the world.
