             New times bring new crimes. Computers and the Internet especially, are growing everyday. A personal computer makes home, school, and office life tremendously easier with its expandable loads of information and possibilities. People of all ages are finding ways to use their PC's for any job, hobby, research, and even fetish they take interest in. With the Internet becoming increasingly popular, government and parents are finding it harder to maintain control of the lives their children lead on the Internet. Obstructing children from a site or information often becomes impossible when children are most likely the most computer literate in the family. The Internet is such an unbelievable step towards the future of sharing, communicating, and educating of present generations that we need to make sure these children are not being corrupted by petty thoughts. Pornography, unidentified chat rooms, and explicit information create a question of whether the negatives outweigh the po!
             Pornography on the Internet has been a problem that many feel is too easily stumbled upon. In the early years of America Online and other Servers pornography was something that surprised many people as obscene web sites and links would show up in their mailboxes. This automatically became an embarrassing incident for many people and from the start ruined the Internet's chances at quality family time. Since the late eighties the pornography industry has grown and has undoubtedly made it easier and cheaper to get a hold of any pictures, and movies possible. A computer modem is all one needs to easily find thousands of pornographic sites after only a simple word search. By the click of a mouse a child can claim to be eighteen without risk and begin any desired free tour.
