They would treat the slaves how they treated the African Americans. They would get slaves and behind there back they would hit them with a wipes on there back if there to slow or if they did something wrong like fall on the floor.

I like the book because it had a really good dialog and it had words that I could understand. You would have to kill a lamb and with the lambs blood put it on your doorway and who ever doesn’t do it, a bad spirit would and kill one who you love. Moses was trying to get the emperor to get the Hebrews free by sending the seven plauges. The soldiers were following them, to bring them back to Egypt and they were running away from them. They experience many more heardships together crossing the land together and others, and would they stay together in the end. They jornyed around the land following Moses until they got to the red sea. Well the emperors decided to let the Hebrews go, Janette decided to go with them too. It was tragic how they would treat the people.
