i hate quotations

             "I hate quotations." Ralph Waldo Emerson and I share a common belief regarding quotations. There are many types of quotations in this world: air quotations, documented quotations, and movie quotations. None of these types of quotes are necessary. Another problem with quotes is the misconception that saying an intelligent quote will make you seem smarter, to other people. Quotes said in this regard come across as unoriginal and uneducated. One can learn an entire book of quotes but quite possibly have no idea what the quotes mean. The major flaw in quotes comes down to a simple series of questions. What is the context in which the quote was said? Who said it? Do they know what they are talking about?
             I was out walking my guinea pig. My guinea pig, Roberta, was on her little harness walking through the grass, occasionally stopping to enjoy some grass. She didn't have a care in the world. It was a beautiful sunny day last week. I had only owned Roberta for about 4 months, but she was 10 months old at the time. She had begun to grow to full size, not quite her maximum size, but getting there. She was also getting fat. We feed her whenever she wants. She can call out for food like we can, only its with a high pitched chirping sound and not a "Hey mom, I'm hungry." It's very interesting to see a person's initial reaction to the noise. Anyway, I'm walking the guinea pig, getting all sorts of weird looks from people passing by. It doesn't bother me though. I'm used to weird looks by now (who knew?). It's an absolutely beautiful day. My mind begins to wander; well it begins on a tangent. Well I began thinking of a movie I had seen before, O Brother Where Art Thou? The film is loo!
