             P1. The author talks about a place called "the farm". That is where she lived once when she was very lonely and unconscious of her feelings.
             P2. In this paragraph the author describes the farm.
             P3. In this paragraph the author talks about the things she liked about this farm.
             P4. The farm seemed eternal in the crude way the A Field Of Silence
             earth does extending, that is, a very long time. The farm was old. The land was worked on, lived on, grown over, plowed under, and stitched again and again, with fingers or with leaves.
             P5. The author talks about the things she saw while she lived on that farm. She also talks about silence.
             P6. She does not want to see anything like that again. There was loneliness there.
             P7. She lived on that farm alone. She read books such as: "Packed Dirt", "Church Going", and "A Dying Cat". She heard a rooster screeching and she wanted to see o rooster when he crowed.
             P9. The roosters would crack out a round.
             P10. The author and the rooster stared at each other, their eyes met.
             P11. When author turned away, the silence gathered and stuck him. " A world pressed down on their surfaces, a world battered just within their surfaces, and that real world, so near to emerging, had got struck."
             P12. There was nothing but silence. She could hear a ring of the silence.
             P13. The silent fields were the real world. The author heard the flies and looked at the rooster, who was looking at her.
             P14. Then she heard human whistling in the air. It was a woman . The notes spread into air and became part of silence.
             P15. The author turned away and the whole show vanished. The whistling became ordinary.
             P16. "There are angels in those fields." She was surprised at something she said.
