Women's Liberation Aims to Free Men, Too
In the past decades, there have been changes that revolutionized the lives of many different ethnic and minority groups within America. Prior impressions molded during our early years of school and everyday life have led us to believe certain preconceived characteristics of women and minorities. Various answers and solutions have arisen from the suffrage of many ethnic and minority groups. The desire for freedom was elevated because of oppressing discrimination of many groups. Thus, clashes emerged not only with opposing groups, but also within the accepted structure of life. This paper will identify and explore some typical stereotypes about women based on the document analysis, " Women's Liberation Aims to Free Men, Too ". It also explores modifications that are necessary for women to liberate from injustices. It explores certain challenges facing women and, ideally, the improvement on society through liberation. The first major hurdle to overcome listed within this article is to deviate from what we have learned throughout history. The improved family structure would allow men and women to free themselves from the out-dated beliefs of our past. The struggle with the concept of inferior led to women to believe unknowingly that they were "second-class" compared to men. The improvement of this goal as stated, would benefit our children from liberation of past concepts. I personally believe there have been accomplishments during the past decades that improved the gap between inequality and equality for women. The result would not only allow women to experience equality but men would understand true freedom from social injustice. The title of this document suggests that men will become liberate with the advance of women. Those statements were proven fact during that period. The public perception that surrounded one myth was that women were biologically inferior compared to men. The gap between salaries even existed when women achieved a higher distinguished background in education. However, the changes have been minor in comparison to the goal of a new social justice explained throughout this article. One benefit of this women revolution will be the advancement of our family. Therefore, women with the desire in mind for peace will effectively make decisions that ultimately end in non-violent measures. The interaction between the family including the father and mother will increase. The myth, which stated women are in fact equal compared to men, was! disproved by the treatment of women within the work place. This article draws a similarity between the struggle for inequality between women and that of the black rights movement.
