Being a teenager, like many others, I tend to waste money every now
then. Usually, this happens when I want something more than I need or when
I don't use my head. What if there were 3 ways to make me use my money
more wisely? To spend my money more wisely, I would have to buy only
things that would benefit me or that I would need.
One way to spend my money well would be to spend it on
necessicities. Necessicities, such as car insurance bills or gas for the car.
I need a car to get around from place to place, so my car insurance bill has
to be paid monthly. In a way, my money is well spent because it allows me
to drive my car and I'm also not wasting that money on other things like
fast food or CD's. Also, paying for gas is something I'm not throwing
money away for. In order for my car to run, I need to pay for gas.
Another way to spend my money, I could continue to add on to my
sports card and autograph collection. I like to collect cards and autographs
and both of these are worth some value. It's kind of like an investment. I
invest in these things because they are my hobby and will be worth lots of
money in the future. Technically, I am gaining the value of money by buying
these things. The more memoribilia I collect, the more money I could make
off of them. Plus, I wouldn't mind going into the sports card trading
business, so collecting now, helps me to broaden my chances of making
it successful. It just takes time and the more I invest in cards/autographes,
the more money it will all be worth.
If I were to buy my own clothes, it could show good judgement
on how well I spend my money. If I bought clothes when I didn't need them,
for instance, only to be like everyone else, I would be wasting money. On
the other hand, if I bought clothes when they are needed, I would be
spending my money wisely. Plus, if I had to buy my own clothes, it would
