Do you think the Western Democracies should invest large sums of money in Russia and other former Soviet Republics? The United States and Russia have gone through very hard times, especially during the Cold War. I think that we should gradually give them little amounts of money and make sure that they use the money for what it is really needed for like food and medical help for their people and not for defense. I personally think that we should invest money in Russia and other former Soviet Republics because if we invest money in them, hopefully they will thank us by becoming allies. They shouldn't need to improve their defense because if they are really our allies, they don't need to worry about any wars being started with them.
