Capitol Punishment

Well, what does capital punishment really mean? Capital punishment is the execution of
criminals for committing crimes. For many years capital punishment has become such
controversial topics. Many people favour and object to this topic, but there are never a right and
wrong answer to this. Personally, I feel that capital punishment is necessary I believe in capital
punishment because it deters murder and prevents killers from committing any murder again, it
lowers the murder rate, and it saves money.
Many people argued that Capitol punishment is too cruel, but would it be cruel if a brutal
murderer slaughter one of your family members? If he killed that one person you loved, then
would you want him to lived? If the death penalty exists in Canada then it will deter murder and
prevent the murderer from creating more death among society. When the killer is dead, he or she
will not be able to murder again. This will protects innocent people from being killed by these
cruel criminals. It is unfair for the victims and his or her family if the killer gets to lived and stay
in jail. Jail is not considered as a harsh punishment to pay back their consequences. Sometime jail
is considered as an easy penalty, because you don't suffer much by being in jail. A family might
feel less pain if they know that the murderer's consequence is death.
