Abortion

In this paper I will be arguing for the following position. I feel that Abortion is not morally wrong or illegal in any way.
I think some of the best arguments for my position are that if a woman decides that she does not want a child then she as free will to do what she wishes as long as the child is still in the womb. I feel that if the child is still in the womb then it is part of her body. A person can do whatever they want to their own body as long as they do not harm mine. People can pierce their ears; nose, eyebrows, lips, chin, nipples, and yes even vaginas and penises. People do all sorts of things to their body. I feel a fetus is part of a female's body until it is born.
However, there are those who disagree with my position and challenge it. Some of their best arguments or challenges to my position are when Jane English says in her article, "Abortion and the Concept of a Person", on page 45, "liberals, on the other hand, are just as mistaken in their argument, that since a fetus does not become a person until birth, a woman may do whatever she pleases in and to her own body. Animals, for example are not persons, yet to kill or torture them for no reason at all is wrong." I disagree.
Also in Edward Langerak's article on page 53, "Abortion: Listening to the Middle", he says that, "late abortions are significantly more problematic than early abortions." I disagree on this too.
I believe these above mentioned challenges can be successfully answered by saying that Jane is ignorant in saying that she is basically classifying me as a liberal because I have an opinion and this is the way I feel. A fetus is not a person. It is part of a person. A person can think and act o
