Sherlock holmes

I have read three Sherlock Holmes stories: “The Adventure Of The Speckled Band,” “The Case Of The Yellow Face” And “The Case Of Identity.”In the first story, ”The Adventure Of The Speckled Band” A middle aged distressed woman called for Holmes because of the mystery of her sisters death, later on in the story Holmes detected that her step-father killed her sister and he was planning on killing her but Dr Roylott’s (step-father) plan went wrong and it back fired on him and he ended up killing himself. In the second story “The Case Of The Yellow Face” A man named Mr Munro had a wife ‘Effie’ who was acting very suspiciously so he contacted Holmes. Holmes and Watson figured that his wife Effie was disappearing to a neighbours house to see her black child that Mr Munro did not know about because the child had come from Effie’s previous marriage.Last but not least the third story “A Case Of Identity” A happy young lady named Miss Mary Sutherland was engaged to Mr Hosmer Angel and on the day of the wedding the cab pulled up that was carrying Mr Angel but he had disappeared the cab driver had know idea of his whereabouts. Mary contacted Holmes for some evidence of his whereabouts so Watson and Holmes d

Like in the story "The Adventure Of The Speckled Band" Dr Roylott was trying to kill his step-daughters for their money and he managed to kill one of them but when he tried to kill again it back fired and he killed him self. In the other stories like "The Adventure Of The Speckled Band," Helen Stoner was unaware that her stepfather Dr Roylott was going to kill her. " He refused to associate himself with any investigation which did not tend towards the usually and even the fantastic. The character Dr Watson is much slower at crime solving than Sherlock Holmes because this example shows how "Yes, but I do not think that it is such a very unusual thing to have a small opening between two rooms. I think the stories sound realistic for that time, but if they were set in this era, I would have to say it doesn't sound realistic, but all the stories were very enjoyable and all the characters had different personalities and they were very strong. Now a days the women are totally different and they are more dominant over men they have more power but back then they were treat like slaves they were weak and had no power. You can tell that the detective stories are from the 19th century because of the use of language like this passage from "The Adventure Of The Speckled Band. The female characters are very similar in the way they are naive "I The Case Of The Yellow Face," Effie the wife of Mr Munro was naive in the way she kept a secret of having a little black girl from her previous marriage. I believe that the messages in the stories try to teach the readers that you shouldn't trust the people you most believe wouldn't hurt you physically or emotionally, like in the story. " "His Costume was a very particular mixture of the professional and of the agriculture having a black top hat, a long frock coat and a pair of high gailers, with a hunting crop swinging in his hand. You know this because we just don't use them anymore, like this comment Sherlock Holmes made about a man stood in a window in the "Case Of The Yellow Face," "It seemed to be of an unusual colour and to have a strange rigidity about the features. In the stories there are no cars and only horse and carts so you can easily tell they are not set nowadays. You Know this because of the quote Dr Watson makes about Sherlock Holmes "working as he did rather for the love of his art than for the acquirement of wealth. The character Sherlock Holmes is obviously very cleaver and full of ideas and he is always at the scene of a crime. In the stories there are a few showings how Arthur Conan Doyle show's a detective story because there are red herrings and a good villain.
