Tanzania
Tanzania is located at 6 00 S, 35 00 E in Eastern Africa bordering the Indian Ocean, between Kenya and Mozambique. (CIA World Fact Book) It is home to the largest volcanic mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania's northeastern boarder. (Microsoft Encarta Virtual Globe) Approximately 38 percent of Tanzania is forested. (Microsoft Encarta Virtual Globe) But that number is decreasing rapidly due to deforestation. This is caused by the rapid population's absolute need for fuel and farmland. Also, the extension of agricultural land in some regions is threatening many areas with desertification. (Serengeti Home) Another interesting problem with the land is the use of dynamite while fishing. Fishers throw in a couple sticks of this powerful explosive and completely destroy the marine environment. Some say that is the cause for the severe flooding on the central plateau, because the marinal environment has been demolished. Tanzania has a warm, almost tropical climate with temperatures averaging around 81 degreases Fahrenheit. (Serengeti Home) Throughout this vast country, rainfall varies due to different geographical locations
Aids, drugs and disease chronically plague this country. Some main leaders are Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendelo, Chana Cha Mapingluzi, Seif Sharif HAMMAD and many others have come and gone in Tanzania's convoluted political shenanigans. Because Tanzania is so poor, 51 percent of the people are in the poverty level, the World Bank, IMF and bilateral donors funded to replenish Tanzania's atrophied economical infrastructure. Overall, the annual temperatures range from 77 degrees to 84 degrees Fahrenheit. Nevertheless, Tanzanians are fairly educated; they are free of religious bigotry and have had little international disputes with neighboring countries. Their 25 different administrative divisions are advid members of the following organizations: ACP, AFDP, C, CCC, EADB, FAO, G-6, G77, IAEA, IBRD, ICAO, ICRM, IFAD, IFRLS, ILO, IMF, IMO, INTELSAT, INTERPOL, IOC, ISO, ITU, NAM, OAU, SADC, UN, UNCTAD, UNESCO, UNIDO, UPU, WEL, WFTU, WHO, WIPO, WMO, WToO, WTrO. Food is usually eaten with an individual's right hand, even when they use utensils. The inland plateau is said to be hot and dry with rainfall averaging 20 to 30 inches. This includes an Army, Navy, and an Air Force, but primarily used for police field force or Malitas. (CIA Fact Book) But due to climate conditions, cultivated crops have dropped to 4 percent of the land area. (CIA World Fact Book)Tanzania's capital, Dar es Salaam, is home for their republican government. Tanzania is home for many important natural resources. In the past some wildlife species have been sustained, but many have gone extinct due to the loss of their homes in the wildlife. Tanzania's major industries include primarily agriculture processing, diamonds, gold, oil refining, wood and salt.
