             Children with autism are sometimes not fully understood by many of the population today. Parents of autistic children may need to know how to care for their children in the best way. So in response to their needs, a "second award-winning book for parents of children with autism" was created. As stated in the article, the book "contains comprehensive information on a broad range of topics, yet it is written in clear, understandable language." Language in which parents, who are not on the top of their medical terms can easily relate to. In connection with the book, there were many exceptional people who contributed their expert opinions and facts to the context of it. People such as "Temple Grandin, an adult with autism, opera singer Beverly Sills Greenough-and Bernard Rimland-set the sensitive and optimistic tone that characterizes the book."
             The components of this book are broken down into chapters that dealt with different aspects of autistic children. The author reports a section on 'pervasive developmental disorders' discussed by the editor of the book who had experience with children who have autism and their families. Another sector of the book, discussed by Dr. Fred Volkmar, deals with the medical aspects of autism and how parents could deal with
             them. It focuses on management; related health issues, and "offers practical advice on selecting a pediatrician, dealing with hospitals and medical procedures, and understanding insurance and managed care." Sandra Harris discussed autistic development psychologically and named the chapter "Your Child's Development."
             As stated in the article, "One of the greatest strengths of the book is its comprehensive examination of the stress that accompanies parenting and advocating for a child with autism.
