This last past week I spent in Dallas. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I remember sitting in my bed the day before I went, and thinking " Well gee I am going to Dallas" I wasn't really excited for the fact that I was going to Dallas boy oh boy, I was so ready to show off all that we had been working on, how talented the little band from Manitou Springs Colorado, that no one has heard about. Well it was finally 2am and I was ready to go. I arrived at Manitou and boarded the bus. I was so tired that I went to bed, the next thing I know is that we are getting our tickets and going over to board the flight. I got on the plane and settled into my seat thinking about all of the exciting things we are going to do. I have this thing about planes though.... I am so scared to fly, and of course when I told Dr. Hopwood that him and Mr.Person just jumped on the chance to make me even more scared, now, most people would be mad that they were doing that, but I wasn't !
             because, most people don't have the kind of directors that get to know the people they work with. Our directors over the period of this year worked with us on our strengths and weaknesses and turned us into the band we are now. We had finally arrived in Dallas. It was so beautiful. We got off the plane and went to our bus. Now we planed this trip really well but of course there has to be a set back. Not only was there not enough room on the bus but our luggage did not fit on the bus, so basically we were kind stuck there for like 45 minutes or so. We finally left and headed to the mall. This mall was huge! The biggest mall I have ever seen. we spent about 2 hours there. It was amazing how much money people spent on nothing but oh well.
