In the beginning of the book, Romeo displays that he is lonely. At first, his mind is set only on a girl named Rosaline. When he realizes that he will never win her heart, he becomes even more saddened, so his cousin suggests to him that they go to a party where he may find someone else. One final characteristic that proves Romeo to be a true romantic hero is that he is very impulsive. Romeo didn’t think about what may have happened. Mercutio ends up dead killed by Tybalt who also dies killed by Romeo. As Romeo’s mind and heart fail to think about anything other than Juliet, his sensitivity towards love turns into impulsiveness. Instead, Romeo simply relies, “Tybalt, the reason that I love thee doth much excuse the appertaining rage to such a greeting. He even put love before god and his life. Without thinking, he acts on impulsiveness once again and threatens to kill himself. When Romeo falls in love with Juliet, he becomes very submissive. Romeo will do anything for the love of Juliet.
