Better to be pissed off than pissed on. That is a saying from Confucius, which is what we will be talking about toady. Confucianism was founded by Confucius in 551 BC. Confucianism is not a religion, but more of how you live your life. It is about the everyday ways of life. All in all Confucianism is a way of life that you practice daily. It is more of a philosophy. Confucianism became the official ideology of the Chinese Sate, but it has never existed as an established religion with a church and priesthood. As I stated above, Confucius founded Confucianism. He was born in 551 BC. He was born in the state of Lu (modern day Shantang Province). He lived during the Chou dynasty, an era known for it moral laxity. His parents, while not wealthy, they belonged to the superior class. His father was a warrior, distinguished no less for his deeds of valor than for his noble ancestry. From childhood and on up he showed a great aptitude for study and school. At the age of twenty-two he opened a school to which many were attracted by the fame of his learning.
