Many bands have become true leaders in their time. In November of 1999, the Beastie Boys came out with a compilation of some of their best music. All the songs ranged from music out of their punk rock days to when they owned a major recording company to the present. The Beastie Boys are influential and cutting edge "scientists of sound" in every aspect, proving so in their unique beats, music, lyrics, and actions. The Beastie Boys' music has always been presented to such an array of audiences and in different styles, allowing them to touch on certain issues not mentioned as often in the music business. This has transformed them, letting them become some of the most elite music-makers of true puissance in their time. Finally, since the Beastie Boys have changed music, lyrics, morals and attitudes they have still remained popular.
