During the World Wars, the Morse Code was commonly used by many countries that used modified versions of it, and more-complex codes. This invention has led to the creation of the more modern telephone. Some countries even constructed machines that would code and de-code the messages sent and received.

After his famous creation of the telegraph, Morse’s fame slowly died down to a slow whisper, until his death in 1872. The telegraph was an electromagnetic telegraph that he completed design of in 1836. e interested in the field of chemical and electrical experiments and developed a tool called the telegraph. Without success of a patent for his device, he continued to invent a code, known as the Morse Code, for use with his telegraph.
