Terror in the Air
There are so many things that you can say about what happened in that day of Infamy September 11, 2001 but words can barely describe the things that changed all history books across America. September 11, 2001 a date that I will never forget and few will. This is that day that the world Trade centers and other government related structures were attacked by terrorists from across the country. Around 8:45am the north tower of the world trade center was hit by a Boeing 767. When first hearing this I thought that I must be some sort of accident and everything will be ok, almost 21 minutes later about 9:06am the south tower was hit by another Boeing 767. When hearing about second tower was the first thought that popped into my mind was that this is no accident we have to be under some sort of attack.
I just cant believe that we have the technology to clone a Human Being but we don't have the technology to eliminate something so devastating as this. I always thought that war happened in the Middle East, not in America; I was wrong. Angry in the way that I wish they could find the person that did this and make them suffer, and sad in the way that all of these innocent people were killed just doing what they did everyday and thinking that everything is ok, but they had no clue that there life would change that day, that day of Infamy. On a normal day, we value heroism because it is uncommon. later a Boeing 757 American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the pentagon. In conclusion I would just like to say that this horrible thing will not go un recognized and President Bush made the right decision to go to war with whoever did this horrible deed. I was in shock I couldn't believe that something this horrible and devastating could ever happen in America. Terror works like a musical composition, so many instruments, all in tune, playing perfectly together to create their desired effect. This terrorist attack did not destroy out patriotism it just re kindled it. I would have never thought that America could unite together like they did in this time of sadness, horror, and pain, but they did; they are still standing strong and united in the United States. I am proud to be an American and I know myself I was willing to do whatever I can to help people get threw this time of Devastation. I had a sense of anger but at the same time a sense of Pain and sorrow just sitting in my chest and I wont go away no matter what I did. I hope myself that this war on terrorism will not go on long but whatever it takes and however long it takes I will stand behind it 100 percent. Just thinking of this horrible thing that has struck America makes me angry and sad. 11, we valued heroism because it was everywhere.
