big bang theory
The origin of the universe is still a debatable argument, faced by many scientists. The main theory that is protruding is the "Big Bang Theory", which has many scientist's backing it up, due to the amount of evidence. Nevertheless, many still are unsure of how it all began. The Big Bang postulates that about 13 billion years ago, the universe exploded into being, in an event called the Big Bang. What happened before is quiet unsure as this "was not an explosion in space and time, but was a explosion of space and time" . This is the reason why we cannot say what there was before the "blob". All the matter and radiation of our universe was a primeval fireball, which expanded quickly. For a fraction of a second 10-34to 10-32, the universe expanded at faster than the speed of light, driven by 'anti-gravity'. At 10-10 to 10-6, both quarks and anti-quarks existed, but due to the temperature, most of it was destroyed, leaving a tiny fragment of matter.* Quarks are the building blocks of protons and neutrons. The reason for the quarks holding together was the "strong force", another fundamental phenomena that appeared after a few seconds of the initial explosion. Formation of protons and neutrons proceeded with the small amount
Due to physics and science being present, the young universe began to expand, and still is. Due to the unevenness of the universe, large groups of helium and hydrogen clumped together. This announces that if a galaxy is moving away, the spectral lines of that galaxy will have a shift to the red end. As they collapsed, pressure increased and their cores began to heat up. These figures are very close to today's figures of hydrogen (71%) and Helium (28%). Hence, the rest became protons and became Hydrogen as the universe expanded and cooled off, 75%. Because of gravity, some of them began to collapse under each other. "Scientist have shown that if a galaxies are moving apart now, the must of have been virtually on top of each other at some point long ago- at the time of the Big Bang"4. These were the main constituents of atomic nuclei. Hence, allowing them to create hydrogen. The gas spreads, thus lowering the density. With all the materials present, slowly, the universe began to develop. This substance would be coming into Earths atmosphere as microwave radiation. The universe was very basic, which had huge clouds of hydrogen and helium and was producing an endless amount of energy.
