Different Points of View of Philosophers

Jostein Gaarder is the author of Sophie’s World, the New York Times bestseller and a novel about the History of Philosophy. Just by looking at the cover of the book we can imagine that Jostein is talking about the Presocratic era, and the four most common names in the world, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Each philosopher has a different point of view of life, nature, and truth. The Presocratic and other three philosophers can be called “natural philosophers,” since, as most early Greek philosophers were concerned with the natural (physical) world and its process.

To start talking about philosophy, we must know who were all these philosophers and their philosophical ideas. For furthering my understanding I looked for extra help to know more about each philosopher.
