When Is The Best Time To Get Pregnant?
             Pregnancy is a natural biological state describing the reproduction of life of a woman or female mammal having a child or offspring developing in the uterus from fertilization to birth. Fertilization occurs when a sperm from a male penetrates the lining of the female egg. Soon after, the egg implants itself into the lining of the uterus and begins to grow into a being. Humans label the being an embryo. After three months as an embryo, the name changes to a fetus. A normal pregnancy is considered to last about 40 weeks. Infants born prior to the thirty-seventh week of pregnancy are called premature. Women are able to become pregnant when their bodies start to menstruate. This usually begins around age twelve. The ability to conceive continues until menopause, or end of menstruation, at approximately age 50. As you can see, women are physically capable of conceiving for about 40 years, but should they?
             Many factors can affect the decision to have a child. Sensible nutrition and exercise are beneficial for pregnant women of all ages. Maturity level is important. A woman needs to be physically, mentally, and emotionally developed to make satisfactory decisions about herself and her developing baby. Financial security, or lack thereof, can affect the care a woman should seek and the material items she will need to care for her child. Emotional support from family, friends, and significant others is essential during pregnancy. Health of the expecting mother is also crucial during this sensitive time. None of these factors is more important than another; moreover, they are all intertwined. Pulling all of these factors together successfully will help ensure a good pregnancy.
