Building on that loyal power base is the foundation for my political aspirations. I’m an Indian-American, part of a group that has provided very strong support for Democrats in general. A position with you would be a great learning experience for me, and with that experience, you will soon see another elected Democrat in Orange County. I’ll work very hard to serve your interests.

I know that I might not have the experience that some of the other applicants have. I admire you because you have succeeded in so many of the things to which I aspire, and because you exercise such passion and energy throughout your career in public service. However, I am a fast learner and feel that I would be a good addition to your staff. You have established yourself as a prominent Democrat in California, just as I would like to do myself.

I would also like to run for office, eventually maybe for a seat in the House of Representatives in about ten years, against an established Republican, Representative Chris Cox.
