In my family, keeping the Native American blood line strong has always been somewhat important, especially to my grandfather. This girl's name was Tiffany Somershein and although the name is Jewish, I knew that my grandfather would believe her to be Native American. I told her my name and said that, if she needed anything that she should just let me know! It took a lot of guts for this encounter, but I know that we both felt the sparks.
