Abortion is Just

             I am going to talk about the purposes of the Old and New Testament and how the Bible is not a good source for anti abortionist.
             First off, a great deal of confusion in the world today is caused by the general lack of knowledge about the purpose and the intent of the two major divisions of the Bible: the old and new testament.
             The Old Testament is revelation and law from God covering about the time from the creation of the earth to about the years before Jesus died on the cross.
             The New Testament is revelation and law from God covering about the time from Jesus' birth to His second coming. It tells us that Jesus, his Son, came, lived, died, and arose from the dead. The New Testament tells us how we are supposed to worship God today.
             Since the time of the cross till now, the modern times, men live under the law of Christ rather than under the Law of Moses as in the Old Testament times.
             Yet, I bet you are wondering how does this tie in with our argument. Well, anti abortionists will utilize the Bible as a source for this subject. However, there is nothing in the Bible that states abortion is wrong. The Bible does not even mention the word abortion. However, why do anti abortionists use the Bible to prove their point? On the other hand, how can they not use the Bible to support their argument? Inevitably, anti abortionists will utilize the Bible to support their point. So there must be a lot of overwhelming evidence in the Bible that states abortion is evil right?
             Wrong! Most people do not take the time to read their own Bibles. People will listen to their pastors and to Christian radio broadcasters. They will skim through pamphlets and look up one or two verses.
             In addition, anti abortionist will use the commandment against murder. Murder is defined in the Webster Dictionary as, "the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought." And, as Nick and Michelle hav...
