             Everyday Americans put their lives on the line to preserve the ideas and principles of this great nation. Many have given their lives for the principles on which our country stands. And many brave men and women have sacrificed their lives and fortune for themselves and our posterity because they held high ideals and honor of our nation that were of more importance to them then life itself.

It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.              We as a people cannot be saved by the heroism and undying devotion of our ancestors, it becomes every generations patriotic duty. Our societies may contain people of different color, religion, background, and beliefs, but despite the many differences that people may have they can come together as one and be united under the title of American.
