" This article says that every man willbe granted their trial, and no one could sayotherwise. The magna Carta was certainlythe "genuine article" and gave England'speople more freedom and liberty. " This article said that people have theright to liberty at all times and the king norany other person could take that right away. The Magna Carta also handled with the courtand justice system. So inorder for a ruler to govern a nation correctlyhe must have laws and boundaries to follow. The Magna Carta was the first document tostart a lawful monarchy in England. Theneed for this document was because KingJohn had taxed, mis-governed and neglectedthe peoples rights until the barons,particularly Stephan hangton, forced him tosign the Magna Carta on June 15,1215. TheMagna Carta contained sixty-three articlescovering many topics such as the rights andliberties of the church, financial concerns,royal courts and the treasury, the sharing ofpower between the king and barons, and thekings relationship with his subjects.
