" This article says that every man willbe granted their trial, and no one could sayotherwise. The magna Carta was certainlythe "genuine article" and gave England'speople more freedom and liberty. So inorder for a ruler to govern a nation correctlyhe must have laws and boundaries to follow. The Magna Carta was the first document tostart a lawful monarchy in England. Theneed for this document was because KingJohn had taxed, mis-governed and neglectedthe peoples rights until the barons,particularly Stephan hangton, forced him tosign the Magna Carta on June 15,1215.
