Canterbury tales
Hello everyone, thank you for attending this rally for women. I am the Wife of Bath. I am very honored to have been chosen to speak at this much needed rally. In today's rally, my main points will be how women are not treated equally and should have autonomy over men. Many men take women for granted. Like in my Canterbury Tale, when the woman was taken advantage of by the Knight while he rode home from the river. She is one of the three women who taught him a lesson. The Knight got what he deserved when the Queen ordered him to death for raping the woman in the woods. The penalty for what he had done was death. But I believe the way the Queen handled the situation was very fair. She told him that in order to stay alive he had a year and one day to figure out sim
And until men realize that they will have to put up with a lot of torture from us women. She taught him that beauty lies on the inside as well as the out side. Some even said fun in bed or even to be re married or widowed. At the end of the Knight's search, he finally had to approach the Queen with his final answer. But it shows that women have to threaten men, maybe even with their lives, like in the Knight's case the Queen ordered him to listen to what women really want. Many men need to realize that women are people too. " The third out of the three people that influenced him was his old wife. All women have the same rights as men do. He told her that women wanted, "the self-same sovereignty over her husband as over he lover, and master him, he must not be above her. They have to be warned in a very serious way. Sometimes a threatening of death may be to the extreme, but women have to do what they have to do.
