DRUNK DRIVING
             Drinking and driving is the number one killer of teenages in America. Because of it, the teenage group is the onlyl age group who's number of deaths are increasing instead of decreasing. Outright denying teens of alcohol doesn't work. That just makes young adults want alcohol even more. What's sad about drinking under the influence cases is that every one of them could have been easily prevented. So, if you cannot deny adolescences of alcohol, why not just educate them on simple precautions that can be taken to prevent drinking and driving.
            
             There are alot of factors that can prevent a person from Drinking and driving. Like you get your license revoked, alcohol training programs, impoundment of your car, and even a jail sentence. The most important one is to just have a Designated driver. Finding a designated driver is not hard to do. Just asking someone responsible to accompany you to a party in which you know there will be alcohol there can save lives. Even if you dont know if there will be alcohol there take a friend, as Mothers against drunk driving say "Friends don 't let friends drive drunk".
            
             THe fact alone that one person dies every 33 minutes should stun anyone good enough to make them not do it. But it doesnt. Supposedly everyone has a good reason to do it at the time, reasons like "I wasnt drunk, i was the least drunk, i knew i was under the limit, i could control the car with no problem, i was close to home, i didnt want to leave the car, or there was no other ride there." These excuses can only last so long before something happens.
             The truth is , is that alot of people do go to parties and do drink, so what can you do? You have to watch out for the people who are drunk, watch out for weaving or slow driving.
