The Look of Love

What is love? Love is an expression used to show affection towards something or someone. Steven Mather says it the best in his poem Love Defined. "Although it's better than the rest, this word can never pass the test; it fails in all capacity to describe the things you mean to me. I need a word that's soft and mellow but painted bright with sunshine yellow I need a word to see my pain a word that's proud, but never vain. I need a word that describes I care, that goes where no one else would dare. I need a word that's fair and just. I need a word of sultry lust. I need a word to hold me tight to comfort me throughout each night. I need a word of fun and play, to greet me as I start each day. I need a word to tell me plain when I'm in error once again. I need a word that's fearless, bold, not slow and weak and tired and old. I need a word of tender touch a word that needs me very much. I need a word that's sparkling new the word is love and I feel it for you." So as you can see love is an extremely powerful word and should not be taken lightly. Most of the time love feels so good but then again love can hurt. I would know better than anyone about this. Not only was I deeply in love, but my heart

It is almost like I have to love her just because she was my first and only love. A broken heart usually follows these devotees of love. For me this kind of love is hard to handle, it is hard to deal with the fact that our love had faded but that my feelings for her were still true and had never actually drifted away. was torn into pieces; it was defiantly an experience that I would never take back. I can say this, as rough as the break up was, love kept us friends. All though you feel marvelous at the time, it is this characteristic that can lead to your downfall. No matter the circumstances, you hold on to every last inch of it. As amazing and wonderful as love is, sometimes the emotions involved can be overwhelming. Candy and flowers will only go so far, if you want to show someone you truly love them the best way to do it is through your heart, and the trust and honesty comes directly from the heart. True once you fall in love you feel like you are flying, you think that you are untouchable, and it is also true that it is one of the greatest things ever to experience, but with falling in love you are also asking for the hardships, tears and broken hearts that comes along with it. I am now aware of the strength that love possesses and the impact that it can have on an individual. You could say that we were in love. The mindset you develop and the feelings that you undergo can make you confused and blind. There are some cases where people devote their lives to the one they love.
