Death

The air was cold and crisp, stars glistening in the sky. My breath was trapped in the cold icy air. Leaves showered down on the ground while the blowing wind whistled through the empty streets of Bayville. The howling of a dog fills my ears, cars lurching in the nearby bushes. The stumbling of a drunken neighbor echoes through the empty autumn air. Rustle in the wind ease the eager one with a chill down her spine.

The streetlight glimmered on her face, an angelic figure gazing upon me.
