When I ask this question, I don't mean that Adam and Eve could be the relative ofZeus and Prometheus, what do I mean? I mean, are Adam and Eve's version ofpunishment more related, or more different, than Zeus's punishment on Prometheus? How are these stories different? How are they similar?There are only to similarities that I could think of between these two stories. Eventhought Prometheus endures far more pain and struggle, both stories are still similar, nomatter what. Also he would not tell Zeus which child of hiswould dethrone him, so he was chained to a rock, and every day a eagle came to eat at hisliver. He has to struggle with the eagle everyday that comes to eat his liver. They have to grow their own crops and raise their own cattle. So Prometheusgave the humans fire and this angered Zeus. After Adam and Eve our kicked out the Garden ofEden they have to struggle on their own, and learn how to survive without to much helpfrom God. Also all theirchildren will forever be sinners, who can't help but do wrong. In the story of Prometheus, after humans are given gifts from Epimetheus,Prometheus is asked to give a gift that would really help humans survive. My first similarity isin the type of punishment they endure. God allowed to drink of the fresh water from the spring, and to eat the animalsand plants as needed. One day a snake persuades Eve to eat from this tree a sweet apple, after shebites she offers it to Adam, who reluctantly takes a bite. Similarities are the things topics, ideas, objects, etc.
