The Japanese visit ancestral gravesites ritually and have a custom of honoring their dead. Japanese students are required to clean both their schools and there neighborhoods. Recently, a new cellular phone was introduced in Japan, this is not an ordinary cell phone, this phone has a screen where you can see the person you are talking to. During those years Japan projected an oppressing kind of a country that secluded Japan to the whole world. Television before don’t have colors, the only color that you can see are black and white. Japan is known to be the haven of hi-tech gadgets that helps people in their daily routine. Those whom do business with the Japanese must understand that the Japanese business persons have certain customs and practices that include the exchange of business cards, the bow, gift giving, as well as the types of conduct during business meetings, improper conduct could jeopardize the outcome of any future business with the Japanese. One of the social customs in Japan is drinking sake during the winter.
