Habitat for Humanity

A beachfront address typically conjures up images of living in paradise. These houses are offered to families according to their need; their ability to repay the no-profit, no interest mortgage, and their willingness to work with the organization. In time, they moved to transitional housing, then to a small house. Therefore, by the time a family gets their own house they have worked very hard and ultimately deserve it. I encourage all of you to donate time and or money to this organization, because it offers people who are willing to work hard a better style of living. In July 1999, they became Habitat homeowners. Instead, it was a nightmare that meant they had to haul water from and bathe at a nearby public park because they could not afford the high cost of housing. This wonderful organization was founded by Millard Fuller and his wife Linda Fuller. Plus, once you experience helping others, you will feel better about yourself. The houses made by Habitat for Humanity are afforded by low-income families because the houses are sold at no profit, and with no interest on the mortgage. In addition, because homeowners and volunteers build the houses and because individuals, corporations, faith groups, and others provide financial support, these houses are easily afforded. Habitat for Humanity has more than 1,900 affiliates worldwide that help plan and coordinate these projects.
