These types of warrant less searches are only allowed with probable cause, but what is enough probable cause to a certain individual? Are some people not more suspicious than others? With the numerous drug OD's and child shootings, we as Americans should take drastic and meaningful measures to combat our grave situation. " Some of the cases being presented before our judges today seem unreasonable and confusing. We should change and modify our laws according to our situation, to the best interest of the public and safety of our lives. For instance, the stop and frisk procedure taken by law enforcement was in fact considered to be a search and seizure within the meaning of the Fourth Amendment. Since the 4th Amendment only applies to "unreasonable searches and seizures", the issue of defining a search and seizure falls upon it. "If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about. Did the people who wrote the fourth amendment take these things into account?Due process- requirement that the government be fair in its actionsOur courts today must uphold due process when dealing with the 4th amendment. Our situation has gotten out of hand, and our 4th amendment rights are not helping us keep on top of the situation. Isn't that something worth doing?. Guns and drugs are a big problem to our country and being in the safety of your house may not always prove effective against law-enforcement. Not give-up our rights, but enforce them on law-breaking civilians. Is that not logical? If we enforce our search and seizure laws we'd be doing this country a favor and strengthening our very own safety. Some of the things we have today would've shocked and scared the hell out of the people who wrote the fourth amendment. They find themselves making exceptions to the fourth amendment. However, what if this is used against the greater good? Criminals can easily set up plans and use technology to their advantage. Some topics in this essay:
