We should change and modify our laws according to our situation, to the best interest of the public and safety of our lives. For instance, the stop and frisk procedure taken by law enforcement was in fact considered to be a search and seizure within the meaning of the Fourth Amendment. Since the 4th Amendment only applies to "unreasonable searches and seizures", the issue of defining a search and seizure falls upon it. "If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about. Our situation has gotten out of hand, and our 4th amendment rights are not helping us keep on top of the situation. Isn't that something worth doing?. Not give-up our rights, but enforce them on law-breaking civilians. Is that not logical? If we enforce our search and seizure laws we'd be doing this country a favor and strengthening our very own safety. Some of the things we have today would've shocked and scared the hell out of the people who wrote the fourth amendment. They find themselves making exceptions to the fourth amendment.
