The amount of children becoming involved in the child sex trade is increasing at an alarming large amount. The age which the children are joining the sex trade is decreasing quickly. The profit potential in the life of a child prostitution is huge. So is the risk of disease and death.

The false promise of a job often comes with the promise to arrange for travel documents and visa, safe and easy travel, and a safe place to live. Child prostitution is extremely destructive. Many cultures have preferences for male children. In a poverty-stricken area there is generally a high rate of illiteracy and a discernible lack of marketable skills. Whether the child was expelled or he dropped out is not of importance. In both types of countries previous sexual and physical abuse is a major cause.
