Ive got a horse and you dont
I have a horse. It is a Arabian. His name is Toby he has a tan mane and tail with awhite body that has spots on it. Toby is a strong horse and has a very loving and caringpersonality but yet he is sometimes competitive. He stays in a barn on my fathers ranch. My fathers ranch is located in Napa Valley. This ranch grew up with a lot of life, happiness and love and we all plan on keeping it that way.I use my horse for many different things. Quite often it is my transportation to and from
Everyone, including Toby, plays a big roll on the farm when it comes down to working. A lot of people are afraid of horses for many different reasons, but I think if you give it enough time and effort you just might have a new best friend. During the summer and early fall I use my horse for barrel racing and to use around the farm. Sometime when I feel lonely I walk out at night to the cool damp barn to see my horse and just let him know what I am thinking about knowing that he's just as much of a person to tell my problems and concerns to. Having Toby has meant a lot to me. I have always loved horses and loved to ride them. We have had are good and bad times but I will never forget how much fun I have had raising a horse like him. When I ride him I feel like I am totally free and have no where to be but just to ride around. Keeping a horse also teaches me responsibility and how to take care of another living being. This horse is both a pet and my friend. A horse is not one of the easiest animals to take care of considering there twice as big as you. It has taught me many lessons on how to care for an animal such as grooming, feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after. I feel that my horse is like a companion to me.
