Creation or Evolution, that is the QuestionA Researched Based Persuasive essay on Evolution Vs. Creation"He who looses his faith shall inherit the wind." -Clarence Darow(quoted from the movie Inherit the Wind) The controversy between the Lord's creation and Darwin's theory of evolution is an ongoing argument. Although both sides support strong arguments, either have yet to prove theirs views to be correct. Evolution goes against the teachings of the bible but scientists today still oppose the idea that God created the earth. According to the bible God created man to have fellowship with God (Acts 17: 27); In the beginning god created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1: 1); God created man from dust and not from animals (Genesis 2: 7). The meaning of these reasons is simply that God created man, God created the heavens, and God created the earth, and there is written documentation to back this up. God created man to have fellowship with God (Acts 17: 27). Looking at the first three chapters of Genesis, it contains an abundance of theology not all of which is obvious from nature alone. The first men were intelligent, able to communicate, organized societies ,made tools and weapons, and more. Creationists think that God created the first man with his impression and continues to do that everyday, with every living thing. In 1850, Christians believed in the fixity of species and Darwin's ideas, but the fossil record went against this. God created man from dust and not form animals (Genesis 2: 7). As archeologists find more fossils that do not fit into evolution, scientists begin to lean towards the fact that creation by God really did occur. Every human being on this earth descended from the first man and the first woman into what we are today. Because most believe that God is sovereign, then he must have also been sovereign when the earth was created. In the beginning God created man in his own image, through time the image has somewhat faded to evolutionists who do not even believe that God is our creator. Even if people were to believe that he created the earth in accordance to natural laws, it does not change the fact that God is the ultimate creator. No matter how much evolutionists withstand the argument, the fact that there are missing fossils will always be an issue. The other reason is simply that I have faith. Hundreds of years ago when Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, many people questioned it, but soon even Christians began to believe in it. Most creationists today believe that most of the evidence used to prove evolution is in fact, false.
