I Can Stop Any Time I Want
The main character, Graham Samson, was an average teenagerfor his time. He got involved with drugs and alcohol, whichbrought him down the wrong road. He was enjoying his summer, influenced by drugs and alcohol, and the prime choices weremarijuana, cocaine, and whisky. Graham did not seem to notice,but his life was slowly going down the drain. He started of witha girlfriend, Claire, good friends, and plenty of drugs, he washappy. Yet, when he loses almost everything, he loses hope. Graham had been sitting in for most of the summer, job less,and bored. All he and his friends would do is get high off ofwhat ever they could get their hands on. Tortoise, Janey, andhis girlfriend Claire had gone to a concert for a couple of days. He sat at home and waited for them to get back because he hadnothing better to do. The day they got back they picked Grahamup and pick up where they had left off and got high and drunk. Graham's stash had gotten low and they needed more marijuana andcoke. Tortoise had met a dealer up at the concert and he hadgood weed, and he just so happened to live the next town over. They gave him a call and went to his house. Warren, the dealer
I would read the sequel if there was oneor if it came out. A few months had passedand he went and saw his probation officer. Grahamwould use Janey for alcohol, and not even thank her for it. He reached under the seat andpulled out a pint of whisky, Janey look at him and began to cry. He started to drink dangerously to hide from theproblems, but what he didn't realize was he was digging himselfdeeper, and deeper in to the hole he was already in. Theending ended so abruptly leaving the reader feeling anxious tosee what was going to happen. Graham not thinking twice about that day was called downto the principal's office, where Tortoise, Tortoise's parents,his parents, and two police officer awaited him. Graham was thrilled, andJaney too, who had stuck by his side throughout everything. Graham apologized, and gave his word to his parents that hewould change. Graham had given up the drugs and it seemed like he wantedto turn over a knew leaf, but he formed an unbreakable grip onthe bottle. Thepolice officers arrested both Tortoise and Graham, search them,and their lockers, and took them to the station. Graham, who was stunned had cut his hand on the broken bottle,the man yelled at him but graham didn't stick around to see whathe was going to do. Within a minute or twothe car hit the center divider of the bridge and exploded onimpact. He hated hislife, his best friend was gone, and when he called Claire, hisgirlfriend, she wouldn't even talk to him. Graham never saw him again, and he was held responsible for thewhole situation.
