Heroes
As Benjamin Disraeli, an ex leader of the House of Commons once stated, " Nurture your minds with great thoughts. To believe in the heroic makes heroes."Heroes arise in moments of all lost hope. People expect a hero to rise from a great disaster and fill them with a new sense of hope. Heroes have been depended on for centuries to keep others out of pain and suffering. Whether it have been a hero to stop the tyranny of a fifteenth century king, or a ordinary person risking their own life to save others from a collapsed building. Throughout time heroes have always set the standard of what real people should strive to be, but can never seem to grasp. A hero is special, their bravery, ability to overcome opposition, and end the pain and sorrow of others makes them the noblest of character. A hero's bravery can be explained in many ways. There are some heroes, usually described in myths and fables, which have superhuman attributes. From Birth these attributes are learned and enhanced while the character matures. Heroes that are portrayed in myths and folktales sometimes have a flaw that keeps them more believable. This flaw is usually Pride. As stated in the Greek myth Theseus, " Am I not the bravest
Heroes fill our lives with hope and stability. Another major thing that makes a person a hero is their ability to overcome opposition. These people are the true examples of what bravery means due to their ability to let go of the part of their conscious that restricts them from getting involved. " This sense of pride that comes along with bravery, is what gets these heroes in the worst of circumstances. When a student has a problem that he or she must overcome and the teacher can help, that student may recognize their teacher as a hero, giving that teacher more pride in there work. For example, Robin Hood would not have been the greatest hero of all time if the people did not fall in love with him due to all the kind deeds he did for them. In real life, bravery is not a character trait that is acquired from birth, but an impulse of emotion that caries with it a sense of letting go and doing what is right and right for others. A hero is noble, respected for their bravery, ability to overcome opposition, and the power to lead people away from pain and anguish. Volunteers with families themselves, running into buildings on the verge of collapse just to find out if a glimpse of life still remains inside of them. Hundreds of firefighters and police officers risking their lives to save others. Ordinary people everyday have there own obstacles and objections so, in theory, everyday everyone could be classified as a hero. Everyday teachers come to their schools and teach. They expect this person to guide them, and have someone to look to for help and guidance. Objections are a normal occurrence in a hero's life.
