A capable teacher

Mr Lee was once my English instructor when I studied in college. Like most of Lee's students, I think of him as a capable teacher. He has many of the qualities, such as patience and efficiency and the ability to organize that student appreciate in an instructor.
First, he is a patient person. When introducing new material, he tries to explain it fully. Even more important, he pays serious attention to all the students' questions. In addition, students are never made to feel embarrassed if they ask a stupid or irrelevant question in his class. For example, I asked a question that had nothing to do with what Mr Lee was talking about, which made all my classmates laugh at me. Also, I thought he would get mad about this. However, he first told them not to make fun of me, and then patiently explored the answer to my problem. After that, I was teary-eyed.
Second, Lee expressed himself clearly. He doesn't speak too rapidly, and his voice is loud enough so that everyone in the classroom can hear it. He often tells witty stories while emphasizing important points in a lecture.
Third, he organizes his class well. Students particularly welcome the schedules of assignments that he gives to them at the beginning of a term. Having an idea of an entire semester's work in advance allows students to budget their time more efficiently. Moreover, Lee promptly corrects and returns papers and tests. This permits students to learn from their mistakes and to produce better work in their next assignments.
In short, having many positive qualities has led Mr Lee from being a thoughtful and dedicated man to being a successful instructor.
